Paper bunting is easy to make, there’s no doubt about that! But what I most love about it, is finding the prefect source material. Old discarded books, postcards, playing cards and all sorts of other paper ephemera are my favourites.
Having sourced the material, the next challenge is the design of the flags. Design….really? I would say “yes”! The style and proportions of each flag and the placing of the template to cut each flag need to be just right. Even the type of string to hang the flags is important for that perfect finish.
